Job Description

Primarily, Teaching Assistants will be responsible for the following duties :

Support department-led pedagogical research.

The specific areas of expertise we are currently looking for include knowledge and practical skills in aspects of pharmacy and pharmacy practice.

Candidates with proficiency in creating online content and improving user interface will be considered favourably.

Qualifications

Candidates must possess either a Bachelor or Master's degree in Pharmacy or other related fields.

Pharmacists with entry-to-practice degrees such as M.Pharm.

or Pharm.D.

are also acceptable.

Skills

Ability to perform and teach pharmacy practice skills including medication reconciliation, medication review, dispensing, patient counselling, managing minor ailments, and providing drug information.

Experience

Prior experience in teaching or mentoring students (especially in Institutes of Higher Learning) will be considered an advantage.
