the Service
Ward
19 is a 20 bed unit providing inpatient care for people with a range of
respiratory conditions.
There's lots of variety in our ward and there is great
opportunity to develop your skills with training in areas such as chest drains
and BiPap.
Within our team, Nurses are encouraged with
their professional development and are supported by a Nurse Educator and
Clinical Nurse Specialist to facilitate ongoing learning opportunities.
About
you
In
this busy acute environment, you'll need excellent assessment and time
management skills.
Your excellent communications skills will be pivotal to your
success in this role as you will be engaging and educating patients and their
families to ensure the best possible outcome
You will have demonstrated ability to work
both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals.
The ability to
be adaptable, flexible and solution focused.
We will provide you with a thorough
orientation package, be well supported by other members of the team and ongoing
support to develop the skills required.
