You will play a key role in delivering the Chemical Formulation Design major within our Bachelor of Product Design (BProdDesign).
The successful appointee will be responsible for : coordinating multiple courses undergraduate and postgraduate coursesteaching full courses as the sole academiccontributing to team teaching into courses across the programmecontributing to the graduate programme, supervising Masters and PhD students, and building a strong research portfolio.This is a unique opportunity to shape the learning experience of students in an emerging and high-impact field, while advancing your own research in areas related to cosmetic science, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, biomaterials, and consumer products.Mou | Who You AreWe are looking for a candidate with strong disciplinary expertise and a passion for inspiring future scientists and designers.
You will bring : a PhD (or equivalent) in Cosmetic Science, Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or a related disciplinea deep knowledge of formulation science, with expertise in one or more application areas such as cosmetic science, personal care, healthcare or pharmaceutical productsdemonstrated ability to teach complex scientific concepts effectively at undergraduate and postgraduate levelsan understanding of relevant product design, brand identity and brand communicationa developing or established research track record, with the potential to attract external funding and to publish in high-quality journalsexperience (or potential) in supervising postgraduate research studentsstrong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across disciplines in a design-focused environment.This is an opportunity to be part of a dynamic, interdisciplinary School where science, design, and product innovation meet.
