TeHerenga Waka - Victoria University of Wellington is currently recruiting Teaching Assistants to join Te Kauhanganui Tatai Ture - Faculty of Law on a fixed-term, part-time contract for the
In this role, under the guidance of course coordinators and lecturers, you will be responsible for low-level academic support and pastoral care for students, and assessment support to course coordinators and lecturers of the 100-, 200- or 300-level mandatory Law courses.
Responsibilities
Proactively monitoring student engagement, for example tutorial attendance.
Marking assistance.
Responding to query emails sent to the course email inbox.
Qualifications
Have an LLB or equivalent.
Have an excellent academic record.
Demonstrate sharp analytical skills, knowledge and understanding of undergraduate law principles, confidence, empathy, and desire to help students to excel in their legal study.
