Azure Senior Integration Developer / Consultant

Job descriptionClients Suppliers and Vendors Deliver Integration solution architecture for clients Lead teams on larger scale deployment and deployments Assist in the technical development and implementations of the company’s Azure, MuleSoft and Boomi solutions Undertake hands-on development for client projects across Azure, MuleSoft and Boomi Provide guidance and demonstrate best practices when delivering solutions across all technologies Strong capabilities in technologies underpinning integration platforms such as .Net (Azure) or Java (MuleSoft, Boomi). Experienced in use of industry-leading CI / CD platforms such as Azure DevOps, Atlassian suite, GitLab, Jenkins Can design and implement full CI / CD pipelines for an integration solution Test driven practices utilising best of breed frameworks for unit and integration testing Test and UAT environment provisioning for clients Implement integrations and APIs in Azure / Boomi / Mule technology stacks Implementation assistance on current projects Implement proof of concept prototypes Mentoring of Adaptiv personnel Seek to educate team members and stakeholders about Best Practice where appropriate Assist with presenting at joint technical seminars and roads shows with Microsoft, Boomi or MuleSoft Identify and propose development and architectural improvements to existing systems Identify and introduce industry best practice standards in all projects, work requests and responsibilities Seek to educate team members and stakeholders about best practice where appropriate Work with partner businesses to help drive “thought leadership” on integration and cloud architecture Constantly up skill on latest technologies to remain at the forefront of service delivery (includes up skilling on the Azure Cloud) Become immersed in vendor programmes such as Microsoft MVP Assist with driving Adaptiv’s thought leadership via social media Manage daily tasks and projects to ensure work is completed consistent with assigned priorities and deadlines. Participate in planning meetings as required. Initiate and attend meetings with team and stakeholders to give timely updates on work progress and resolution of issues. Report progress to team and Project Coordinator as appropriate. Assist the executive team with presales and project establishment Responsible for taking reasonable care to ensure own health and safety at work, and to avoid adversely affecting the safety or health of any other person at work Due to the fluid and dynamic environment within the group, new, additional, or amended position responsibilities may be required at any time Successful demonstration of change orientation is an ongoing responsibility of all positions All documentation is professional, accurate and timely Communication with external clients and internal staff with utmost professionalism Meet project deadlines in accordance with direction from Principal Architect All other internal and client-facing regular deliverables (which are not projects themselves) to be achieved on time and to the required standard. Provide suggestions for improvements to the development process All other internal and client-facing regular deliverables to be achieved on time and to the required standard Ensure all actions directly support the Company objectives, values, policies and processes A related tertiary degree Track record of successful Integration / API design projects (which is verifiable) Track record of successful MuleSoft or Azure or Boomi or .Net development projects (which is verifiable) 8+ years’ experience as a Senior Developer Industry Adaptors experience Visual Studio & VS Code TFS and Azure DevOps or CI / CD platforms Excellent communication skills both verbal and written A strong eye for detail Self-managing with a highly motivated and results driven approach Sense of urgency, can-do and proactive attitude Ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlines Excellent relationship / interpersonal skills Always able to think outside the box and demonstrates sound problem-solving mindset Flexible and adaptable Total and complete professionalism Sense of humour

POSITION SUMMARY
The Senior Consultant position is a critical role as it provides Integration consulting across the Company’s partner businesses. The position is responsible for assisting with the design, implementation, review, and updates of the Company’s IT solutions. This is a varied position with exposure to integration technologies both on-premise and in the cloud, including Azure, MuleSoft, Boomi and BizTalk.
The incumbent will be required to work on multiple projects at any one time and balance workload accordingly. The role is required to use tools and techniques related to software development in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
This position is highly responsive to the requests of clients with work priorities largely influenced by these stakeholders.
