Experienced Tiler

Job Description :

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable tiler to join our team in Auckland.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the tiling industry and be ready to take on a full-time role with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities :

Review plans, measure, and mark surfaces for accurate tile placement

Prepare wall and floor surfaces by removing old tiles, grout, and adhesive; filling any holes and cracks; and thoroughly cleaning surfaces

Apply adhesive to prepared surfaces, position tiles, and ensure precise alignment and spacing

Use tile-cutting tools to shape tiles for edges, corners, and around fixtures like fittings and pipes

Grout tiles, ensuring proper finish and removing excess grout

Apply waterproofing systems as required

Design and lay coloured tiles in intricate patterns to create mosaics

Requirements :

Relevant Level 4 qualification or a Minimum 3 years of tiling experience

Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship

Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable and punctual

Location : Auckland | Full-Time | Minimum 30 hours per week Wage : $30 - $32 per hour (depending on experience)
