Job Salary : $30.00 – $31.00

Working place :   Auckland

Working hour per week : 30 – 50

NZ Tile LTD is a large, well-established tile company providing high-quality tiles and comprehensive flooring services across Auckland. Our business includes retailing tiles, flooring solutions, and professional installation services for residential and commercial projects. Due to growing demand, we are seeking several experienced Floor Finishers to join our team.

Key responsibilities include :

Prepare, measure, and level work surfaces to ensure flooring can be installed accurately and securely.

Install a variety of flooring materials including hardwood, laminate, vinyl, carpet, and ceramic / porcelain tiles.

Cut, trim, and fit flooring materials around corners, walls, doorways, and fixtures using appropriate hand and power tools.

Apply adhesives, bonding compounds, grout, and sealants to fix flooring materials and ensure strong, durable finishes.

Stretch, seam, and tack carpet for smooth and secure installation.

Lay and align tiles with correct spacing and patterns, followed by grouting and sealing.

Sand, polish, stain, or seal wooden floors to achieve required finishes and protect surfaces.

Inspect, repair, or replace damaged flooring and carry out refinishing works when necessary.

Ensure work is completed to high standards of quality, safety, and design requirements.

Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a safe and clean condition.

Job pre-requisites :

At least 2 years relevant working experience (experiences gained in the same industry will be considered as meeting the experiences requirements) with verified evidence

Relevant qualifications are preferable but not a must

Physical fitness and could handle the heavy workload

Strong dedication to health and workplace safety

Familiarity with relevant tools and materials
