Your Role
Join Health New Zealand as a Registered Midwife in the New Graduate Programme, working part-time at Wellington Regional or Hutt Hospital with supportive teams and a focus on equity.
Key responsibilities include :
Participate in the new graduate midwifery programme at Capital and Coast or Hutt Hospital.
Work 8-hour shifts on a rostered and rotating basis, equivalent to 0.8 FTE over 54 weeks.
Balance clinical responsibilities with commitments to the Midwifery First Year of Practice (MFYP) and personal life.
Collaborate with senior teams including the District Chief of Midwives, Associate Directors of Midwifery, Midwife Managers, and obstetric teams.
Work alongside Lead Maternity Carer colleagues to provide care for whanau.
Transition to the permanent midwife roster upon programme completion.
