    About Te Pou | Mō mātou

    Te Pou is a not-for-profit, national workforce development centre.       In the programme coordinator role, you will provide exceptional workshop, training and event coordination to support the delivery of mental health and addiction projects within the Practice team. This will include addiction training workshops, networking and events for support workers and other activities as identified across the projects and programmes.

      Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

    • Provide effective customer service and on-going liaison and exchange of information with people, trainers, training and service providers as appropriate
    • Locate, organise, enhance and share relevant information and resources to support decision making, sound processes and effective service delivery to colleagues and contractors within Te Pou and Blueprint
    • Engage with relevant stakeholders, networks and communities to promote Te Pou’s activities and identify opportunities for providers to engage in workshops and other activities

      We’re looking for a proven professional who’s enthusiastic about supporting and developing the addiction workforce by using evidence-informed approaches.

    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
    • Highly organised with ability to prioritise and work independently managing multiple demands
    • Use sound ethical processes with a customer service approach
    • Reflects the Essential level of Let’s get real across the seven Real Skills in work practices
    • Display a passion for working with the sector to improve quality of life outcomes for people using mental health, addiction and disability services.
