Marketing Coordinator

The Opportunity

In this role you will be reporting to the National Marketing Manager - Brand & Communication and work as part of the wider HCMO (CablePrice New Zealand and Hitachi Construction Machinery Australia) marketing team. This role has its challenging times and is very busy, but the rewards of seeing the impact you make across the organisation by the exceptional support you provide to the wider marketing team and the results achieved, is extremely satisfying and provide career advancement. The critical skill needed in this role is the ability to produce interesting, informative, accurate and engaging content. You will be needed to write articles for internal and external publications and communications, social media posts, and copywriting for our website that will capture the attention of the readers.

Key tasks for this role include :

• Work closely with the marketing, sales and design teams to gather information and support their content needs.
• Proactively source and create engaging written content to be delivered across a range of internal and external mediums.
• Assist in performing SEO, SEM, email marketing and CRM maintenance.
• Coordinate multiple, multi-layered projects, prioritise, and keep stakeholders informed.
• Assist with website backend maintenance and content administration, including updating and managing web content across multiple platforms.
• Collect data and report on eDM and website analytics to assist in decision making and ongoing campaign improvements.
• Support end-to-end ownership of events including booking venues, hiring gear, product placement, and staff accommodation. Event coordination from beginning to end.
• Conduct market research and present findings that identify trends, opportunities and assist our marketing strategies.
