We're backed, we're scaling, and now we're hunting for a Data & AI Lead who's equal parts strategist, builder, and operator.

This is not a support role.

This is a player-coach role, with the chance to define the data and AI engine that will power Jade ThirdEye for the next decade.

What You'll Lead

Build Jade ThirdEye's data layer — the infrastructure to unify 1st- and 3rd-party data, pooling insights across our customer base.

You'll be developing an AI development plan for the broader Product Engineering team and act as a player coach to execute that plan.

Develop and deploy AI / ML models that cut false positives, surface hidden risk, and give customers an edge against financial crime.

Partner with world-class vendors to accelerate capability, while building Jade's own foundations for long-term competitive advantage.

Lead a small, high-performing team of data scientists / engineers, scaling as impact grows.

Embed AI and data insights into the heart of our product roadmap, working hand-in-glove with Product and Engineering.

Represent Jade externally as a thought leader in AI for AML and fraud prevention.

What You'll Bring

You're more than a data scientist.

You're a leader, a builder, and a force multiplier.

Proven experience leading AI / ML initiatives in high-growth SaaS, fintech, or enterprise software.

Deep technical capability : data engineering, model development, modern AI (ML, deep learning, LLMs).

Commercial acumen : ability to turn business problems into data-driven solutions with measurable impact.

Strong record of building data platforms and deploying AI / ML models into production.

Experience working with external technology partners and integrating best-in-breed solutions.

Leadership style that combines clarity, ambition, and accountability — you make things happen.

Growth mindset : you thrive on a challenge, are constantly learning and have a positive outlook

Bonus : exposure to AML, fraud, or regulated industries.
