We are currently in the phase of implementing the International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP).

About the Role :

The successful candidate will be responsible for the planning and delivery of engaging Performing Arts curricula across various year levels, with a primary focus on Drama and supporting instruction in Dance and other Performing Arts aspects.

Core Responsibilities :

Curriculum & Instruction : Plan and deliver Drama instruction to various year levels across the school, including Dance and other Performing Arts aspects of the curriculum.

Major Production Leadership : Direct and produce the annual whole-school Opera, overseeing the budget, staffing, student auditions, and coordination with external agencies to produce a high-quality stage show for the school and wider community.

Support the other performing arts teachers and staff in oversight of the facility, including a commitment to school-wide and cultural activities term by term.

Applicants must have the right to work in New Zealand and hold a current practicing certificate from the New Zealand Teaching Council or an international equivalent.
