Head of department - music (full-time permanent) in a sole charge role. The arts offer a way to express faith, build community, and celebrate culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead the music programme as head of department, including oversight of performance groups and itinerant lessons.
• Support subjects beyond music where appropriate; te reo Māori is an advantage, but other areas are welcome.
• Possibly develop into a head of faculty role for the right applicant.

Qualifications and Attributes

ACS is a state-integrated Y1-13 Area School operating in rural Ashburton since 2009. The school emphasises a Christian understanding of the world and uses carefully considered innovative practices to support teaching and learning.
