We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative teacher to join our dedicated team. This is a permanent, part-time position (.4 FTTE) for our middle school. The specific workdays are to be discussed and negotiated with the successful applicant.

The ideal candidate will :

• Work collaboratively with our team of teachers to plan and deliver a rich curriculum.
• Have a understanding of the New Zealand Curriculum, particularly for Y2-4.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of effective pedagogical practices for this age group.
• Be a skilled practitioner of assessment for learning, using data to inform teaching and learning.
• Have a proven track record of building positive and respectful relationships with students, colleagues, and whānau.
• Be committed to cultural responsiveness and inclusive practices.
• Be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
• Be able to support and uphold the Catholic special character of our school.
