Senior Data Engineer

Are you a highly skilled Senior Data Engineer looking for your next exciting challenge? We’re an NZ-based agency offering fully remote work, and we’re on the hunt for a talented individual to join our team. You’ll work on large scale projects for our Tier One Big Four consultancy customer, collaborating in blended teams and making a real impact.

About the Role

This isn’t just any data engineering role; it’s an opportunity to dive deep into cutting-edge technologies and work on diverse client engagements. You’ll take full ownership of data problems, from initial analysis and design through to the successful implementation of solutions. You’ll be instrumental in designing, building, and maintaining robust data pipelines, extracting data from a wide array of sources including :

• Structured and unstructured extracts
• Relational databases
• SaaS products
• Data warehouses e.g. Redshift and Snowflake

You’ll be proficient with tools such as Fivetran, Airbyte, and Databricks for efficient data ingestion and federation. A significant part of your role will involve use of Databricks for ETL, analytics, and AI workloads, with data transformation facilitated by DBT.
