DIALOG Fitzroy Ltd is seeking an experienced General Manager - New Business Development to lead our expansion across New Zealand and Australia. This executive-level role is pivotal in identifying, pursuing, and securing new business opportunities while overseeing tendering and marketing functions in a fast-paced, complex industry. This role is based in New Plymouth, Taranaki .

At DIALOG Fitzroy , we design, build and maintain complex industrial assets across New Zealand and Australia. With over 65 years of experience, we've built a reputation as a trusted partner to clients in energy, petrochemicals, dairy, pharmaceuticals, geothermal, water treatment, tank terminals, and other bespoke industries.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead growth strategies and market expansion initiatives.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration to align business development with operational delivery.
• Oversee the full tender lifecycle—from lead generation, tendering, contract award and post-award performance tracking.
• Own and manage standard contract frameworks (NEC, NZS 3910, AS 4000, and bespoke models as required).
• Build and maintain strong client relationships across multiple levels and sectors.
• Direct marketing efforts to enhance brand visibility and reputation to align with our regionalisation aspirations.
• Monitor and report on business development KPIs and pipeline performance via CRM tool.
• Champion a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.
