In this role, you will be part of the team working with clients, contractors and vendors to deliver a diverse range of projects across New Zealand, Australia and the Asia-Pacific region.
While each project you work on will be different in scope and scale, you will be able to :
Prepare process designs on multi-discipline projects, including PFD and P&ID development, developing specifications for process equipment and supporting the tendering of major equipment.
Work with our clients to improve process capacity or troubleshoot issues either in the main plant or within engineering utilities.
Gain industrial site experience through short to long term assignments as part of site-based engineering teams during the design and construction phases in regional New Zealand, New Caledonia and Indonesia.
Support HAZOPs and other process safety reviews.
Attend design and site meetings.
This role will be based on Beca's Hamilton office with our Industrial team of ~20 diverse and passionate engineers, process experts, designers and project delivery teams.

To be successful in this role, you will be a Process Engineer looking to make a difference with a passion for project delivery excellence.
You will be able to apply your current and relevant dairy and food processing industry experiences, within the process, technical or engineering design roles.
In addition, you will be looking for your next career step to expand your career within a consulting environment.
You may be motivated to build your understanding of the design process learning from our industrial leaders and getting involved in 'stretch' projects.
You will also enjoy the challenge of working across multiple projects with different timelines and deliverables, as well as having responsibility for delivery of your part of a project.
You will also be a relationship builder, both experienced with and enjoys working with on-site teams, supporting and building relationships with the operational and engineering teams we interact with.
Your career to date will include experience and the understanding of how sites and site processes work, and with the engineering and design approach to understand how designs and solutions impact on site and site operations.
