Operations EngineerFisher & Paykel Healthcare is seeking an Operations Engineer to apply engineering expertise to support critical manufacturing through continuous improvement.About The RoleAs an Operations Engineer, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, communicating and building relationships at all levels.
The role spans production engineering, product development, process development, supplier development, quality, project management, and procurement.
Key responsibilities include : Collecting and analyzing production and quality data to drive improvements in product design, production processes and capacity.Conducting day-to-day troubleshooting, process characterization, validation and continuous improvement activities.Designing, developing, testing, integrating, validating and maintaining testing hardware and software systems used in production.Desired Experience and SkillsBEng (or equivalent) in Mechatronics, Electronics, Computer and / or Software Engineering or related discipline.Experience with design, development, testing, maintenance or integration of control and automation systems for physical process equipment, encompassing mechanical, pneumatic and electrical components.Proficiency in programming concepts and ability to adapt to various programming languages (NI LabVIEW, Ni Test Stand, #C, C++, SQL, Python).
Experience working with a Quality Management System (QMS).2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing or operational environment.Knowledge of manufacturing and process design.Application of LEAN manufacturing principles (PDCA, value stream mapping, single-piece flow, etc.).
