OverviewWe are seeking Chefs to join our teams on the West Coast for the summer.
Role options : Chef de Partie or Commis Chef.
Location : West Coast, New Zealand.
Employment Type : Fixed Term Contract for the Summer Season from September / October
Remote location with subsidised housing available and staff meals.
Properties include Heartland Hotel Fox Glacier, Scenic Hotel Franz Josef, and Te Waonui Rain Forest Retreat.ResponsibilitiesPreparation, cooking and serving of food for service.Preparation, cooking and serving of staff meals.Ensure all food is served and stored at correct temperatures to meet hotel standards and kitchen guidelines.Clean and sanitise work areas, equipment, utensils and dishes.Follow all sanitation and hygienic food handling procedures set out by legislation and hotel policy.QualificationsExperience in a commercial kitchen environment.A certificate at NZQF Level 3, or higher, in Cookery (preferred).
