Engineering Project Manager

OverviewSeeking an amazing Engineering Project Manager.

Based on the Coromandel peninsula, with the main office in Thames, this role focuses on end-to-end delivery of Council's projects, leading design, consultation, procurement and managing construction resources for each project assigned.The role is responsible for leading and supporting the development, delivery and successful completion of capital works / infrastructure projects, with a focus on Three Waters projects.ResponsibilitiesProject planning and delivery aligned to our project management frameworkProcurement of resources through both design and construction phasesFinancial management throughout the project life to approved budgetsAbout youAs an Engineering Project Manager, you should have at least 5 years\' experience in project management to help deliver the capital works we are undertaking.

Ideally this should include successful delivery of Three Waters infrastructure renewals and new build projects.It is desirable that you either have extensive prior experience delivering projects for a local council, an industry recognized project management qualification and have civil or structural engineering qualifications.You\'ll need to demonstrate : Working knowledge of the Resource Management and Public Works ActsPrevious experience in community consultation in NZ including iwi consultationPrevious experience in the Project Management of community-based projects in NZWorking knowledge of the Local Government environment in NZ and of the Local Government ActAre you ready to make an impact?
