Projects vary across industries with some clients involved in marine fabrication, food-grade production and architectural metalwork.Key Responsibilities : Fabrication and welding of stainless steel and aluminium components to specificationReading and interpreting technical drawings and fabrication plansPerforming MIG, TIG and ARC welding to a high standardWorking collaboratively with workshop teams to meet production and quality targetsWhat We're Looking For : NZ trade qualification in fabrication or welding (or equivalent)Proven experience working with stainless steel and aluminiumMarine fabrication experience is highly desirableCurrent NZ welding tickets for stainless and aluminium are highly desirableStrong technical skills and attention to detailCommitment to health & safety and quality workmanshipAbility to work independently and contribute to a team environmentWhat's on Offer : Multiple full-time, permanent roles availableCompetitive hourly rates : $32-$40 / hour, based on experience and qualificationsSupportive, safety-focused work environmentsOpportunities for ongoing training, certification and career developmentIf you're a skilled fabricator looking for a stable, long-term opportunity in Christchurch, we'd love to hear from you.
