BestStart Totara Street is a purpose-built early learning centre located in the stunning town of Taup2. Licensed for 80 children, we cater to both under twos and over twos across three thoughtfully designed classroom spaces. Our centre vision is “Getting to know you, to grow you”—a reflection of our deep commitment to building strong relationships and partnerships that support every child’s success.

About the role

This is a pivotal leadership opportunity for a fully registered teacher with proven experience in leading high-performing teams.

• Build and nurture strong relationships with tamariki, whnau, and staff
• Influence the direction and culture of the centre
• Support and grow your team through coaching and development
• Lead with confidence, collaboration, and clarity
• Ensure curriculum, planning, and compliance are delivered to the highest standard
