With recent upgrades to court surfaces and lighting, they continue to enhance the environment to support the growth of the sport.As Centre Manager, you will effectively maximise the operation and management of the Centre, providing vision and leadership to a team of key employees, volunteers and stakeholders.
Implementing strategic and operational initiatives to ensure netball continues to thrive will be a key aspect of this exciting role.
Key responsibilities will include : Further developing and retaining a culture of excellence, innovation and passionBuilding strong and effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholdersBeing an influential representative to Netball NZ and the WBOP ZoneManaging and growing income streams including funding and sponsorshipEnsuring the Centre facilities are well utilised and maintained to a high standardFinancial management and reporting, including budgeting and cashflowHR including recruitment, inductions and performance reviewsLeading health and safety managementTo ensure your success in this position, you will offer strong leadership, management and communications skills, combined with high level decision and problem solving capability.
In addition you will demonstrate vision and the ability to achieve results.
A background in the sports sector is essential and past exposure to funding and sponsorship is desirable.
