Job Description
Assist the Job Manager to attend to technical and design issues at site and report issues to Job Manager.
Provide standing supervision as and when directed by the Resident Engineer and / or Consultant team.
Check through construction drawings and highlight any discrepancies found between or within the same disciplines prior to the commencement of installation works.
Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings and specifications.
Ensure adequate safety precautions are enforced on site.
Resolve all site issues and ensure timely completion of the project.
Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning.
Maintain site records.
Estimated commencement of work in November
Requirements
A registered C&S Resident Technical Officer with IES / ACES
Minimum 5 years' experience as a Resident Technical Officer on local projects
Experience in Healthcare project (Polyclinic, Nursing Homes, Hospital etc) is an added advantage
Experience in Student Accommodation, Service Apartments, Hotel, Institute of Higher Learning, or project of a similar nature is an added advantage
Familiar with local codes and regulations
Ability to respond to technical questions
Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognised tertiary institution is an added advantage
