Exciting opportunity in a new sport-focused secondary school (Y11–13)

The director of sport and wellbeing is responsible for leading the strategic development and delivery of NZPAA’s sport and wellbeing programmes. This role supports student‑athletes in achieving excellence in their chosen sporting pathways while promoting holistic wellbeing across the school. With a teaching load of 0.6 FTE, the director will also deliver high‑quality instruction in relevant curriculum areas, maintaining strong engagement with students and model best practice.

• Demonstrates excellent teaching practice and strong digital competence
• Actively includes whānau in the learning journey of their tamariki / mokopuna

• Supports and upholds the values and special character of our inclusive, sport‑focused school
• Teaching NCEA so opportunities are available in all subject areas. Please state your academic teaching strengths.
• Experience and interest in sporting codes essential
