Overview
Hybrid role based in Tokoroa with work from home days.
We are on the hunt for an experienced Business Analyst who will support the successful delivery of business transformation projects by analysing current processes, designing future-state solutions, and assisting with change management to ensure project objectives are met and business efficiency is improved.
Reporting to the Business Transformation Manager, key responsibilities will include :
Working with stakeholders to define the scope, goals, success criteria and constraints
Documenting current and future state expectations
Facilitating interviews, workshops and focus groups to gather insights and requirements
Analysing system usage, tools and pain points across different admin functions
Identifying required system changes, integrations or new tools
Identifying potential risks (operational, cultural, service delivery) and mitigation strategies
Supporting communication and change planning in collaboration with HR or a change lead
Helping to develop training plans or transition documentation for staff
What you will bring to the role
3-5 years proven experience as a business analyst
Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies
The ability to build strong working relationships with stakeholders
Exceptional communication skills – written and verbal
Confidence with IT systems
Previous experience in the public sector or council environment would be advantageous, however is not essential.
