About the role
As centre manager, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and daily operations of the centre, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and high-quality learning environment. You will :
- Provide strong professional leadership and guidance to a team of qualified kaiako.
- Build trusting and collaborative relationships with tamariki, whānau, staff, and the wider community.
- Oversee compliance with Ministry of Education licensing, regulations, and funding requirements.
- Support our teaching team to deliver meaningful learning experiences inspired by Te Whāriki.
- Manage enrolments, rosters, budgets, and administration with support from the owners.
About you
We are looking for someone who is :
A qualified and fully registered ECE teacher.Experienced in team leadership and centre management (or ready to step up into the role with strong leadership capability).Warm, approachable, and an excellent communicator with whānau and staff.Organised, confident with systems, and knowledgeable about ECE compliance and funding.Passionate about creating a centre culture built on aroha, kindness, and respect.What we offer
