This full-time role will advise and support the Pou Rautaki section with technical relationship management and coordination to progress Tiriti partnership engagement.
We seek an experienced advisor who can build and maintain key relationships.
To be successful, you will bring :
5+ years' experience working with mana whenua partners in a political environment.
Demonstrated experience providing engagement advice and support while building relationships.
Understanding of working within an organisation with a strong regulatory framework and Maori resource management obligations.
Expert knowledge of local and central government, programme and relationship management experience.
Proven relationship building and communication skills.
Demonstrable experience working with hapu and iwi and an active commitment to upholding cultural values and practices.
Deep understanding of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
You will have a relevant tertiary qualification or technical experience in a related specialty.
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across diverse groups.
Strong networking, influencing, and relationship building skills.
