- to lead a team of maintenance specialists and manage maintenance partners inCanterbury region.Bsaed in Christchurch, salary up to $132,727 per annum + 5 weeks' annual leave(pro rata)The Team Leader Maintenance leads a high performing team that works with maintenance partners to coordinate and deliver services that respond to the maintenance issues raised by customers living in Kainga Ora homes.This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of an outcome for an entire business area, offering professional development opportunities into a myriad of pathways - from the wider maintenance space to our Healthy Homes mahi and project management roles.You'll be experienced in property management and maintenance, with a sound understanding of maintenance contracts and KPIs.You'll also have experience navigating and leading through change — whether it's implementing new processes, adapting to evolving service models, or supporting your team through transformation.Your ability to bring others on the journey and embed change sustainably will be key to your success in this role.You'll take a proactive and collaborative approach to working across a variety of internal and external stakeholders.You'll be passionate about providing exceptional customer service and have the stakeholder management skills to match.Demonstrated people leadership skills.You'll be analytical, confident utilising reporting tools to ensure the provision of a streamlined service that is efficient and effective.You'll be adept at prioritising a busy workload in a fast-paced environment.A current and full NZ driver's license is required in this role.As a Kainga Ora - Homes and Communities employee, we want to make sure that you have all the tools and support you need.
