• We have an exciting opportunity to join the team as a permanentNurse Manager for Safe Staffing - Care Capacity Demand Management (CCDM).

The Nurse Manager - Safe Staffing (CCDM) providesoperational leadership support and facilitation for Safe Staffing across theCanterbury - Waitaha and West Coast - Te Tai o Poutini district.The Nursing Manager is responsible for coordinating theprogramme of activity that supports safe staffing and CCDM across every campus.This includes ensuring safe and effective operations are undertaken on everyshift, working alongside clinical leaders to ensure staff resources are matchedto patient care demands, that these are monitored and that staffing risks aremitigated.

They also support the functions of the integrated operation centreat each campus and work collaboratively with nursing, allied health andmidwifery clinical leads.

They support staff wellbeing, organisationalefficiency and excellence as well as a strong focus on improvement andoperational excellence.
