Whanganui
We are seeking Casual Support Workers to work alongside, coach, and mentor Rangatahi and Tamariki in our Intensive Support Services in Whanganui.
What does a Support Worker do?

Our Support Workers assist Rangitahi and Tamariki who access our services to live as independently as possible in their community.
Your responsibilities include :
Working as part of a team to ensure consistency in approach.
Supporting Tamariki or Rangitahi to attend school or access education.
Observing and responding to health concerns, supporting overall health and wellbeing.
Helping Rangitahi / Young People work towards and achieve their goals to improve outcomes.

Who are we looking for?

A passion to support our Rangitahi / young people in learning new skills and achieving outcomes.
Previous experience working with young people / Rangitahi.
An understanding of intellectual disabilities and Autism.
Creativity, out-of-the-box thinking, and team-player qualities.
A full NZ driver's license.
Empathy, respect, and cultural awareness are essential, as the individuals we support come from diverse backgrounds with varying needs and interests.
