Orphans Aid Op-Shop Manager- Whanganui- Fixed Term Contract

OverviewWe are looking for an exceptional manager to help for a fixed term to cover parental leave.You will work with volunteers and staff to create a well run, efficient and loved, must visit Op-shop.ResponsibilitiesWork with volunteers and staff to run the Op shop in a well-run, efficient manner and maintain a positive environment.Demonstrate strong people skills, support sales activities, and handle some technology and admin tasks.Contribute to the second hand / pre-loved market and collectables focus of the shop.Support fundraising efforts through the Op shop as part of Orphans Aid International's activities.Hours : 30 hours per week including some Saturdays.QualificationsExperience in the Op shopping, second hand or charity world.Natural all-rounder with strong people skills, sales ability, and capability with technology and administrative tasks.Understanding and passion for the second hand / pre-loved market and collectables is a must.About Orphans Aid Op ShopsThe Orphans Aid Op shops are a major part of the fundraising for Orphans Aid International, helping children and families globally and also right here in NZ.
