Tuakau College is located in the North Waikato, in the town of Tuakau. We require a passionate, energetic teacher to teach in our English learning area, commencing at the start of 2026.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English instruction in the learning area for Years 7–15 / wharekura with strong curriculum knowledge.
• Maintain effective classroom management and foster a positive learning environment.
• Support student learning and contribute to a collaborative team culture.

Salary and Conditions

Conditions of work and salary are based on the Secondary Teachers Collective Agreement . The salary range is from $70, / hr) to $103, / hr). A salary assessment is required to determine the salary grade.

For overseas applicants, you are required to have a three-year specialist degree at Level 7 with a one-year teacher training Level 7 qualification. It is an advantage to have New Zealand teacher registration with the NZ Teachers Council.
