Secondary (Years 7–15) / wharekura, Certificated teacher – English. Papatoetoe High School seeks a passionate, dedicated educator to join our vibrant learning community. Responsibilities

• Collaborate with teachers and staff to support student learning and achievement in English for Years 7–15 and wharekura programs.
• Contribute to a inclusive, student-focused learning environment and the school’s vision for diversity and success.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and implement best practices in teaching and learning.
• Participate in curriculum planning and school activities to support student growth and wellbeing.

Qualifications

Salary

The terms and conditions, including base salary, for this position are set by the relevant collective agreement. The base salary for trained and registered teachers will range from $53,155 to $88,864 depending on applicant’s qualifications and experience. Individual salary will be established by a salary assessment once a role is confirmed.
