• Permanent, part-time role (0.8 FTE, 32 hours per week)
• Salary range - $72,074 - $86,719 per annum pro-rata and KiwiSaver
• Oral Health Assistant / Dental Assistant with experience preferred, but all interested persons are very welcome to apply

• We have a unique opportunity for you as a Dental Assistant to work as part of our professional and supportive Oral Health Service at Southland hospital. • About you
• You will :
• be a people person who is culturally competent, and excellent customer service will come to you naturally
• have a pleasant telephone manner
• have strong administration skills
• have an awareness of the need for confidentiality of patient records and information
• you will be self-motivated with good organisational skills and a participatory team member as part of a tight-knit, small team
• need to have the flexibility to be able to cover occasional rostered evening shifts
• need to be able to work in other clinics throughout the region - on occasion, this may see you staying away overnight
• be responsible for helping to maintain the oral health of patients in our region
• work alongside an Oral Health Therapist / Dentist as part of a supportive and friendly team who is committed to delivering quality health services
• you will be required to participate in a weekend on-call roster, normally one weekend in four, from 9am - 12pm.
