Automotive Employment NZ has been awarded Sourcr 2024 Automotive Agency of the Year.We are seeking a skilled and experienced Automotive Technician to join this team.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in conducting engine rebuilds, overhauling, handling wet dual clutch transmissions, AWD rebuilds, and diagnosing and resolving electrical and ECU faults with precision.The roleGeneral servicingDiagnostics and fault findingMinor and major repairsConduct engine rebuilds and overhauling with a keen attention to detailExpertly handle wet dual clutch transmissions and AWD rebuildsWOF checksRequirementsTrade qualified automotive technicianWOF license preferred but not essentialFranchise brand training is a bonusConfidence and skill in handling complex automotive systemsSolid diagnostics capabilityGood communication skillsAbility to work well in a busy, productive workshopAccurate worker with good efficiencyGood referencesIn returnYou will be paid a solid hourly rate with bonuses and have the opportunity to benefit from ongoing training and work in a well-appointed workshop, with a supportive team, in the beautiful Bay of Plenty region.
