We are currently seeking a Service Technician to join our team in Christchurch to service our South Island customers.

This is a full-time role.

The role involves liaising directly with customers and managing the service process from start to finish on a semi-autonomous basis.

We are a small business with a strong culture of teamwork, where everyone steps up to assist when needed.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to :

Maintaining an organized display and inventory of service stock

Diagnosing and assessing repair requirements efficiently

Communicating with customers and preparing service reports

Maintaining accurate customer and tool records

Engaging in self-learning and knowledge sharing with team members

The ideal candidate shall possess :

Pride in maintaining an organized and presentable service area

Attention to detail and proficiency with computers for record-keeping and invoicing

Good memory and a practical approach

Motivated, mechanically-minded, and physically capable – this is a hands-on role

A positive attitude and mindset

Experience in a similar engineering or maintenance role

Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical systems and equipment
