Position : Registered ECE or Primary Qualified Teacher (Part-Time, Permanent)

Location : YMCA Taranaki, New Plymouth

Hours : 20 hours / week, rostered between 7 : 00am – 5 : 30pm, Monday to Friday

Pay Parity : Yes – we’ve opted in!

What We’re Looking For

• Enthusiastic and dedicated teacher who is either provisionally or fully registered, and holds a qualification in ECE or Primary teaching
• Calm, caring, and playful nature
• Collaborative team player and positive role model
• Inspires and motivates tamariki through creativity and curiosity
• Strong understanding of Te Whāriki, programme planning, learning stories, and assessment
• Confident with ECE regulations and compliance
• Communicates clearly and warmly (written and verbal)
• Brings energy, initiative, and a great sense of humour
• Holds a current First Aid Certificate (or is willing to obtain one)
