Class 5 Truck Driver

We are seeking Class 5 Truck Drivers to safely and efficiently transport goods to various destinations.

It is a full-time permanent role with a minimum guaranteed 30 hours of work per week.Key Responsibilities :

• Plan routes and meet delivery schedules.
• Document and log work / rest periods and kilometres spent driving and retain fuel receipts.
• Comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route, designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.
• Manoeuvre trucks into loading or unloading positions.
• Collect and verify delivery instructions and any paperwork.
• Report defects, accidents, or traffic violations.
• Servicing, lubricating, cleaning, and refuelling the plant and performing minor adjustments and repairs.
• Follow all SOP policies that you signed off at your induction.
• Check ROC, COF and registration weekly.
• Set up traffic management around your site at all times.

Safety barriers and safety cones will be carried on your truck at all times

Qualifications :

1. Must hold NZ Class 5 driving license or equivalent overseas license.2.

Must have a Dangerous Goods endorsement.3.

Must have a forklift operator certificate with an F endorsement with a minimum of 6 months of experience.4.

Must hold at least 1 year of relevant work experience
