Join our client as Roofers, installing and maintaining longrun roofs to high standards, ensuring durability, weatherproofing, and aesthetic appeal.

Pay range : $29 to $34 per hour

Days : 5 days per week

Hours : Guaranteed at least 30 hours, standard 40 hours per week

Role Overview

To carry out all trade and associated tasks as required for fascia, spouting, downpipes, and general roofing work.

Key Responsibilities

• Placing : Prepare and install roofing materials. Cut roofing materials to size to fit roof edges, valleys, and around chimneys or vents. Installation of long-run roofing and flashings to a high standard. Apply felt or waterproofing membranes before laying roofing materials. Use specialised tools (e.g., hammers, nail guns, roofing scissors) to secure longrun to the roof structure.
• Finishing : Install ridge caps, flashing, and trims to ensure a watertight finish. Apply finishing touches to the roofing structure to enhance durability and aesthetics. Ensure all tiles are correctly aligned and securely fastened. Seal any gaps or joints to prevent water ingress and air leaks. Check for leaks and fix any areas of concern.
