We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to lead automation, streamline delivery, and enhance collaboration across the full application lifecycle.
You'll work closely with developers, system operators, and business stakeholders to deliver faster, more reliable solutions through agile methods, automation tooling, and cross-functional teamwork.Key ResponsibilitiesLead complex automation and development across the application lifecycle and toolchain.Collaborate with developers, system operators, and other stakeholders to manage efficient code releases.Facilitate workshops with cross-functional squads to maximise delivery speed and automation.Drive business-led iterative delivery, ensuring transparency and visibility of work.Influence development practices to improve speed and unlock new value.Build strong relationships with stakeholders, ensuring needs are understood and met.Keep stakeholders informed to minimise escalations and backlog.Encourage diverse thinking to solve delivery challenges.Promote cross-functional skill development across all core applications.Apply technical expertise to support and guide squad members.Champion and enhance best practices across applications.Cross-skill across supporting applications and understand the digital applications landscape.Foster a high-performance culture and support team engagement.Coach, mentor, and share knowledge across disciplines.About youProvisioning and managing infrastructure in Azure, AWS, or GCP.Implementing Infrastructure as Code, ideally with Terraform.Building Docker files and using Kubernetes for enterprise-scale container orchestration, installation, configuration, and deployment.Developing automation scripts and CI / CD pipelines using one or more tools such as Jenkins, Cloud Build, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.Working in a SysOps / DevOps capacity alongside software development teams.Operating cross-functionally across multiple stages of the software development lifecycle (e.g. development & testing, or analysis & maintenance).
