We are looking for a Lift Adjuster / Electrician based in Wellington, New Zealand.

About you You will be the face of the Otis brand and responsible for commissioning and installing lifts, escalators, and travellators in compliance with the relevant codes and Otis specifications and procedures.

This role will report to the Construction Project Manager and work closely with other Installers, Electricians, Adjusters, Field Engineers, and Construction Coordinators.

Permanent role You will be assigned 2-3 jobs a week with various customers within your areas.

Reports to the Project Manager Key Responsibilities Install and Modernise lifts, escalators, and travelators and work to the highest safety and environmental standards while meeting service targets.

Ensure timely completion of defects identified during service / handing over inspection in coordination with the Project Manager.

Identify process improvement opportunities and help facilitate continuous improvement to satisfy the customers of your processes.

Maintain company tools, equipment, and materials properly and safeguard such property.

Perform work in accordance with the relevant lift industry codes and standards and maintain and work to the Quality System.

Comply with the company's Environmental Health and Safety policies and procedures, including reporting any conditions that may impact on the environment or any employee.

What you will need to be successful Have a locally certified Fitting / Electrical / Mechanical trade qualification or equivalent experience Has 3-4 years relevant experience in the elevator industry and proven ability to work safely as part of a team or independently, depending on requirements.

Must be a NZ registered electrician with a current practicing license Hold a valid driver's license Enjoys communicating with various stakeholders at different levels and working closely with others in the field.

Solutions-oriented, independent, and well-organized.
