Night Auditor

Overview

Night Auditor role at Novotel Wellington (Accor).

We’re looking for an experienced Night Auditor to join our night team, bringing professionalism, initiative and exceptional service to ensure every stay ends and begins seamlessly.

This is a Full-time position (minimum 40 hours per week) based at Novotel Wellington, working overnight shifts from 11pm–7 : 30am on a rotating roster. While the role is primarily at Novotel, flexibility to assist across both Novotel and Ibis Wellington is valued and occasionally required.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome and assist late arrivals and early departures with smooth check-in / check-out.
• Complete nightly balancing, system backups and financial reporting using Opera Cloud PMS.
• Prepare and distribute night audit reports in line with finance and compliance standards.
• Act as Night Manager when required, ensuring guest and team safety overnight.
• Oversee night operations including room service, porter duties and regular security checks.
• Manage room availability and handle any overbooking or relocation requirements.
• Maintain accurate billing, reservations and room allocations.
• Keep public areas clean, tidy and guest-ready overnight.
• Support the Front Office team with performance reports and handovers.

Pay and Benefits

This role is paid at $27.68 per hour plus a night shift allowance (Hours worked between 12am - 5am are paid at 1.25 times the ordinary hourly rate), with access to global hotel discounts, meals on duty, and opportunities to grow within the Accor network.
