As a shepherd general, you’ll work closely with the farm manager, who’ll support your learning, growth, and confidence in all aspects of high‑country farming.

THE FARM

Molesworth is an awe‑inspiring high‑country property spanning 180,787 hectares across the North Canterbury and Marlborough regions. Nestled between the Kaikōura mountains, the Wairau River, and Hanmer Springs, Molesworth offers a unique blend of heritage, scale, and natural beauty. Home to around 5,500 Angus beef cattle, the station combines rich farming tradition with progressive and sustainable pastoral practices, all while protecting the land’s remarkable biodiversity.
