We are seeking an experienced, innovative, enthusiastic teacher who has a passion for learning to teach in a Y3–4 single‑cell classroom. The classroom is part of our senior team of three. We are a small school, therefore being able to work collaboratively and as a team is imperative.
The successful candidate will be adaptive to the needs of the students and have a positive growth mindset. We are looking for a teacher who can build genuine relationships with ākonga, whānau, colleagues, and be highly skilled in positive behaviour for learning strategies.
Bringing a strong curriculum knowledge base that can be elaborated and developed as we align with the new curriculum would be an advantage.
There is also an opportunity for the right person to have some leadership roles through sport and team responsibilities. Having some previous experience would be beneficial.
If you are an inspiring kaiako ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our tamariki, we would love to hear from you.
We welcome applicants to arrange a visit to the school or find out more about us. We would love to hear what you can bring to our kura.
Applicants must hold a current New Zealand teacher registration. If you're currently residing in New Zealand that would be advantageous for this position.
This is a permanent position starting at the beginning of term 1, 2026.
