Position : Y4-6 Teacher (Primary and intermediate 1–8)

Sunnynook Primary School, nestled in the vibrant North Shore of Auckland, is dedicated to providing a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for students from diverse cultural backgrounds. As we strive to empower every student to reach their full potential, we are seeking a passionate and dedicated Y4-6 teacher to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver expert classroom practice implementing quality teaching and learning programmes.
Align teaching with our school curriculum and values.
Apply AFL practices, structured literacy, and wellbeing strategies.

Qualifications & Experience

Certificated teacher with experience in Primary and intermediate (Years 1–8).

Experience teaching core subjects : English, Health and Physical Education, Learning Languages, Mathematics and Statistics, Science, Social Sciences, Technology, Te Reo Māori, and The Arts.

Strong commitment to Te Ao Māori and te reo Māori.

School Environment

We are a Māori Achievement Collaborative (MAC) school with a strong commitment to Te Ao Māori and te reo Māori.

Position Start

Position to begin Term 1, 2026.
