We're looking for a strategic and people-focused leader to join us as Manager, Data & Intelligence.
This is a key leadership role within our Data & Analytics function, responsible for driving the development, performance and implementation of data and intelligence strategies that support the FMA's regulatory and strategic objectives.
Responsibilities
Setting objectives, delegating, and empowering your team to deliver on the Data & Intelligence strategy through coaching, support and performance management.
Overseeing the creation and maintenance of comprehensive data products and reports that provide actionable insights for internal and external stakeholders.
Continuously seek out and implement improvements in data collection, analysis, and reporting methodologies to enhance the effectiveness of the Data & Intelligence function.
Qualifications
You will be an experienced leader in data analytics, with a strong track record of turning complex data into actionable insights.
You'll be comfortable designing and delivering data strategies that support organisational goals and able to communicate with senior stakeholders in a clear and compelling way.
Coming from a financial services background isn't necessary but ideally, you'll have a good understanding of regulatory environments.
A tertiary qualification in statistics or data science would be advantageous.
