About the roleWe are seeking a maintenance person to join our team on a permanent basis, providing general maintenance services to our residents at ourlovely Greenwich Gardens Village, based on Auckland North Shore.

You will assist with the overall maintenance of our village and facilities.Hours are Monday - Thursday - 32 hours per weekSome of the great things you will be doing.Providing generalmaintenanceservices to our residents in our Village.Ensure preventative maintenance schedules are completed on all plant, equipment, and buildings in a timely manner.Aids the grounds staff and undertakes general gardening tasks from time to time as and if required.Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety standards are met and maintained on site.Take responsibility in liaising with residents daily to understand and problem solve any general maintenance issues on siteAbout youPrevious experience as a general handyman or in property maintenance will be highly advantageous.Some things that will support your application : Ability to work autonomouslyStrong focus on Health and Safety standardsConfidence and ability to use hand tools, power tools and operate maintenance machineryExcellent communication skills - written and verbalCustomer centric approach - driven to deliver outstanding service to our residents.Full Driver's License is essential.About usEstablished in 1984, Metlifecare is a leading owner and operator of retirement villages, providing rewarding lifestyles and care to more than 6,500 New Zealanders.
