Associate Cloud Engineer - Automation(Cpe)

The Assoc Cloud Engineer deploys and configures solutions in the cloud.

He / She automates cloud operations, develops infrastructure automation scripts and participates in the continuous improvement of cloud solutions.

He / She participates in the specification, setup and runs Proof of Concepts (PoC) and demonstrations.

He / She defines and deploys monitoring, metrics, and logging systems.

He / She administers and maintains servers across virtual platforms and leverages open source solutions to automate tasks.

He / She creates and improves procedures and authors technical documentation to enable self-service for most operational tasks.He / She is meticulous in his / her approach, possesses inventiveness and attention to detail that aids in the development of solutions.

He / She has the ability to understand the business requirements and propose affordable and feasible solutions.Role & ResponsibilitiesDesign, configure, and implement Jira ITSM formsDevelop and maintain custom workflows, business rules and groovy scriptsImplement ITIL-aligned processes for incident, problem, change, request and CMDBCollaborate with stakeholders to translate functional requirements into effective technical designsDevelop and maintain Ansible playbook for infrastructure automationBuild REST API integrations with internal systems to enable seamless end-to-end automationSupport platform upgrades, patch management, and ensure optimal performance and availabilityRequirementsDiploma / Degree in computer science or related IT discipline, or equivalent experienceITIL v3 / v4 certification or equivalent experience in IT service managementOpenness to feedback and a commitment to continuous learning and skill developmentBasic knowledge of Windows Server and experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) system administrationFamiliarity with programming / scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or BashUnderstanding of Agile methodologiesStrong written and verbal communication skills for effective user engagementStrong analytical and problem-solving skills to address technical challengesExperience in cross-functional teams or projects is advantageousFamiliarity with AWS Cloud is a plus but not mandatory
