OverviewAs a Sales Executive at Cogent Ltd, your primary mission is to contribute to revenue growth through a balanced focus on customer acquisition, retention, and expansion.
You will be responsible for managing relationships across a diverse client base, identifying new opportunities, and promoting Cogent's integrated portfolio of services.
These include Unified Communications (UC), Critical Communications, IT Managed Services, and Cybersecurity Solutions — the core of Cogent's '4 Pillars Strategy'.
You will play a pivotal role in growing Cogent's presence in the market by upselling and cross-selling within existing accounts, renewing customer contracts, and driving net-new logo acquisition.
This is a hands-on, target-driven role that requires strategic thinking, strong relationship-building capabilities, and a proactive sales approach.Key ResponsibilitiesRevenue Generation & Sales StrategyDrive revenue growth across three key sales areas : Professional Services, Capex Sales, and Managed Services.Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities with net-new customers.Proactively upsell and cross-sell Cogent's solutions into existing customer accounts to expand wallet share.Ensure timely and successful renewals of existing customer contracts, safeguarding recurring revenue.Client Engagement & Relationship ManagementAct as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for your assigned customer portfolio.Conduct regular client meetings, presentations, and business reviews with stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite.Maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and position Cogent offerings as value-adding solutions.Forecasting & ReportingDeliver accurate and timely sales forecasts and pipeline updates on a weekly cadence, reporting to the Chief of Sales.Monitor key performance metrics and sales targets, taking appropriate actions to ensure achievement of objectives.Ensure AutoTask is kept up to date on a weekly basis as this tool is used across all of Cogent to manage activities, opportunities, and client communications.Collaboration & Internal CoordinationWork collaboratively with Finance, Operations, and Delivery teams to ensure smooth onboarding, service delivery, and customer satisfaction.Participate in strategy planning, go-to-market campaigns, and product enablement sessions.Lead Generation & Business DevelopmentActively engage in outbound prospecting, marketing events, partner collaboration, and referral networking to generate high-quality leads.Develop strategic account plans for key Cogent accounts.Job InsightsSalary match
